It looked like we were in for two winning Doubles – at 6/5 and 7/2 - when
Carlos Tevez put Man Utd 2-1 up with just 5 minutes to go. But Porto
scored an 89th minute equaliser to scupper the ‘Man Utd win’ part of our
bets. Ouch.

Our Match Result selection for Villarreal v Arsenal came good though,
with the ‘Draw’ paying out at 9/4.

And while we also got the ‘Over’ and ‘Under’ 2.5 Goals picks right for
both games, the Corner stats cost us with two uncharacteristically ‘high’

Last night’s results – Porto and Arsenal go corner crazy

Porto racked up 8 corners last night, putting pay to our Corner Handicap
bet on Man Utd – with 5 of those corners coming in the first half-hour of
the game. Early corners also cost us in the Villarreal game, where there
were a whopping 10 in the first half alone.
