Barcelona's Lionel Messi started on the bench against Basel last night,
before coming on as a sub and scoring. Depending on who you placed our
recommended Messi 'Anytime Scorer' bet with yesterday, you will have
either landed a winner or got your stake back.

Here are the rules posted on William Hill and Betfair's websites – the
two firms we quoted in our email yesterday. We've also included below the

'Player must start the match for bets to be valid. Stakes refunded on
